    VETERAN SERVICES: Assists veterans and eligible dependents in acquiring benefits through the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, the State of Maryland, and other veteran specific programs. During the initial visit, they will review military discharge documents and the circumstances of service in order to provide the best possible assistance. Can assist with disability compensation/pension claims. Staff will track processing of claims and additional development requests made by the Veterans Benefits Administration. 

    Department of Veterans Affairs data shows that veterans represented by accredited organizations receive significantly greater disability benefits than their non-represented counterparts.
