    EDUCATE AND INFORM: Ensure family members understand the organization of the military unit and its mission, provides family members with information about their benefits and entitlements and familiarizes them with the mobilization process. Provides information to improve readiness and preparedness of all family members with regards to personal affairs that could impact their lives during the separation. Develops family support networks for mutual support and welcomes family members to participate in unit activities and increase family members' identification with the Unit and Maryland National Guard.

    TRANSITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM: Assists military members as they transition back into civilian life. Provides Pre-Separation Counseling and assists with scheduling Transition-goals, Plans, Success (T-GPS) attendance.
