WOMEN'S HEALTH PROGRAM: Provides support services to women in Central MD who are HIV+. Offers education on HIV risk reduction for pregnant women and their families during all stages of pregnancy. Provides support services including home visits, access to community programs and safe sex education. Offers recruitment for current research protocols. Offers consultations with the medical community. Offers comprehensive prenatal, intra-partum and postpartum care, including anti-retroviral treatment to prevent transmission to fetus. Offers assistance for women to move into the HIV+ health care system once they have had the child. Provides gynecological care through the Moore Clinic. Provides obstetrical care by the HALO group at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center.
