OVERVIEW: Provides mental health and housing assistance.
SERVICES: 1) MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES: Provides psychiatric out patient and rehabilitation services to adults with mental illness and residential rehabilitation services
2) SHELTER PLUS CARE: Provides permanent housing, rental assistance and psychiatric rehabilitative services to mentally ill homeless adults and their families. Aims to reduce symptoms of psychiatric disabilities and maximize their clients' ability to function successfully in the community. Staff members visit with each resident six times a month, create customized support services to match residents’ levels of functioning, and strive to provide excellent services to ensure the program’s continued success.
3) COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS: Assists men and women ex-offenders in making a successful transition from prison to the community. (Baltimore only).
