    -ADULT BASIC EDUCATION (ABE) /PRE GED/GED CLASSES: Offers individual tutoring, ABE, Pre-GED and GED classes. Classes are offered in September, January and April. A placement test will be given to determine the learner's class level. Off site classes are available.

    -EXTERNAL DIPLOMA PROGRAM: Provides an alternative to the General Education Development program for earning a high school diploma. EDP allows learner to demonstrate high school-level skills by applying skills in real life situations and can be completed in 6-12 months.

    -LITERACY TUTORING PROGRAM: Matches clients with a volunteer tutor. Meets 2x/week, for approximately 2 hours.

    -DONATIONS: Accepts donations of general office supplies.

    Payment Description: None.

    Intake and Eligibility: ABE/GED: Adults, 18 and older, interested in education courses, who have been officially withdrawn from the Baltimore city School system for at least 6 months. <br />External Diploma: must be 18 and score at the 10th grade level or higher on placement test. <br />Literacy Tutoring Program: Non-readers, up to the 2nd/3rd grade level who are 18 or older.
