    PROTECTIVE AGENCY: Serves eligible adults who are unable to protect their own interests or are at risk of abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation. Provides investigative services to protect the health, safety, and welfare of vulnerable adults. Continuing case management is provided for up to 18 months. As a last resort, BCDSS can become the guardian of a vulnerable adult aged 18-65 to alleviate risk.
