    PUBLIC SCHOOLS: Offers education to students of all abilities in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade programs in Kent County. Also has responsibility for development and implementation of curriculum throughout the system. A full time program for 3 year old children is offered at Henry Highland Garrett Elementary School.
    -Adult Education: Offers courses for persons ages 16 and older. Includes GED preparation, Adult Basic Education (ABE), ESL (English as a Second Language), and non-credit classes in subjects of general interest.

    -Food Services: Offers free or reduced fee breakfast and lunch programs to students who qualify. The income guidelines are set by the federal government and have been adopted across the state.

    -Homeless Children: Parents who are homeless should contact their Homeless Education Liaison to assist their child in attaining proper support and education. Call Supervisor of Student Services: 410-810-3170.

    -Special Education: Provides appropriate education for children from pre-kindergarten thru 12th grade that are in need of special services due to cognitive, emotional, or physical disabilities.

    -Student Services: Offers comprehensive services to all students that includes school counseling, career development, school health services, attendance, home schooling, and drop out preventative.
