    OVERVIEW: Provides low cost housing, supportive housing, adult foster care homes and rental assistance and housing for adults throughout Baltimore City and County. 

    SERVICES: 
    1) LOW-COST HOUSING: Provides permanent housing for adults throughout Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Supportive case management focuses on greater access to healthcare, substance abuse recovery, employability and income, with the goal of strengthening self-sufficiency.

    Eligibility criteria: Homeless, very low income HIV+ individuals or other disability and their family members.
     
    2) SUPPORTIVE HOUSING: Provides supportive housing through At the Door,  for HIV+ ex-offenders leaving the prison system. The program provides residents with a continuum of care from transitional housing through self-sufficiency. Supportive case management focuses on access to healthcare, substance abuse recovery, education, employment and services activities that can successfully connect them to their community.   
     
    Eligibility: Candidates for At The Door are HIV+ ex-offenders leaving the prison system and are homeless Baltimore City residents, with low- or no income and will no family or other support systems.
     
    3) ADULT FOSTER CARE: Offers adult foster care facilities through the Don Miller Homes. Licensed to provide room, board, assistance, and supervision needed by adults with disabilities who are capable of living in the community, but are unable to live alone. AIRS staff provide a protective living environment in a homelike setting for ten individuals living with end-stage AIDS.   
     
    Eligibility: Low income, HIV+ individuals referred through Maryland's Project Home. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age, single, and referred through Permanent Supportive Housing Assessment.

    4) RENTAL ASSISTANCE & HOUSING: Provides rental assistance and housing throughout Baltimore City and County to HIV+ immigrant clients through the Un Nuevo Comienzo program.

    Eligibility: Low income, HIV+ individuals and family members with limited English proficiency.
