INVESTIGATION: Investigates allegations of neglect and physical or sexual abuse of a child. Legal mandates require children in neglect cases to be seen within 5 days and in abuse cases within 24 hours. Emergency services may include placement in sheltered care or court involvement, or may involve counseling with the family to rectify the situation.
INDEPENDENT LIVING SERVICES: Assists at-risk individuals to remain living independent in their community for as long as possible. Case management services include assessment, referral, and continuous evaluation of the client's situation.
IN-HOME AIDE: Provides assistance with activities for daily living for eligible persons who live alone or with their families. Services include light housekeeping chores, budgeting, laundry and meal preparation, as well as instructions for performing tasks independently.
SUPPORTIVE LIVING SERVICES: Provides supportive housing, personal care and case management services to individuals who cannot live alone. Placements are in private homes. Providers assist residents with meeting their physical and social needs and transportation may be arranged for medical appointments and social activities.
